A rotting deck and scattered ideas gave way to a cohesive backyard designed for connection, comfort, and daily use.
The Challenge
The Denstons had a backyard that felt uninspired and unusable. A rotting deck, no clear layout, and uncertainty around how to bring features like a fireplace, kitchen, and swim spa together left them stuck.
They had a vision of what they wanted—but no idea how to make it happen or where to start. Without a plan, their yard remained untouched and underwhelming, and the pressure to “get it right” kept the project stalled. The space lacked both function and heart, and it wasn’t serving the needs of a growing family.
The Solution
